I first met Ronda Wade at last year's convention when she did a presentation on Private Classes. I remember being so excited thinking this was the model I wanted to follow.
I later started following her Facebook page called Training with Ronda and Creating Success with Ronda Wade
At the end of December, I purchased 6 of her CD's. She was offering a 2 for 1 sale. I got a set on Private Classes, Classes, 50 Top Secrets and Organizing. I listened to them over and over again. I still do!
Last month I joined I joined her Business Builders Group
I like Ronda because she emphasizes building your face-to-face business as a foundation. I've seen so many trainings on building an online presence, but I agree with Ronda's philosophy that the online stuff should be a support to your in-person business.
Check her out. She did a training for the Pals which is really good. Just do a search on the Pals website for Ronda Wade.

Vendor Fair Tips
Just wanted to share my pics of the display board I made for the "Employee Bazaar" I participated in earlier in the month.
I got the letters from the Dollar Tree and found a few things I had to tack onto the board. I used the Sale-a-bration flyer to post the current specials. This was my first vendor fair and I was really excited about getting to advertise at work.
Before the event, I listened over and over again to the Pals recording by Desiree Spence on Trade Shows. She presented it on Oct 19, 2012. You can find it by doing a search for "trade shows" on the Pals website to get to the recording.
I liked Desiree's emphasis on getting leads and her tips on engaging people in conversation. Since my event was a lunch time event, I didn't have much time to share.
I had a stack of forms for people to sign up for my newsletter. I also had flyers listing my monthly classes and I invited everyone to come. I had some sample cards on the table and a few Spring catalogs out.
I made some post-it note holders and Easter treat holders and sold them at $2.50 each. I didn't sell a lot of them, but people looked at them and I told them that they were hand stamped, talked about how products coordinated. I really tried to emphasize that that all my projects were things anyone could make.

Here we go!
Welcome Kindred Pals...Theresa, Lisa and Shannon,
And welcome to our new Kindred Pals blog!
I'm starting this blog for 2 BIG of reasons.
#1 To build our group within a group
We're already part of Mary's incredible Pals group.
But for some incredibly wonderful reason, you are all signed up as my downline. So thank you for putting your confidence in me.
Some day you'll be in my shoes with your own downline if that's what you want.
# 2 I feel a need to share.
Really, I do.
Mostly I want to share what I feel you can duplicate to build your own business. Even if you're not sure you want a "business" with SU, I'll still share.
What I'll be sharing is my experience. In a nutshell, my latest endeavor has been participating in Ronda Wade's business builder's group. I pay $30 a month to listen to her weekly trainings and get access to her various resources.
Don't get me wrong. Mary Fish is incredible too. Absolutely. But she didn't quite have the face-to-face business experience that Ronda has.
Anyway, here's to the start of my new blog.
